When you become a parent, or are ready to become a parent, the whole world shifts. You may look back on your childhood, your family of origin, or past relationships through a different lens. You may learn things about yourself that you didn’t know until now. Life might suddenly feel a lot bigger, heavier, or harder to manage. You may feel increased stress, anxiety, or depression.
